NetScout has enhanced its platform for converting raw network data from telecommunications companies into smart data usable for agentic AI operations. This measure is intended to support telecommunications companies' customer experience management and network operations automation.

NetScout announced in Seoul on the 23rd that it has enhanced the capabilities of its AI-based IT infrastructure operations and security intelligence platform, 'Omnis™ AI Insights'. The company is listed on NASDAQ: NTCT.

According to the company, the platform is designed to expand operational visibility centered on packet-based, high-fidelity metadata and to support application issue analysis, security detection, and decision automation. It is structured to analyze network events in conjunction with subscriber experience through AI/ML-based automation.

In a survey conducted by McKinsey & Company targeting telecommunications executives, 64% of respondents said they are expanding the adoption of AI. On the other hand, 45% stated that issues regarding data quality and utilization are major constraints on the spread of AI. The industry has pointed out that the performance of AI agents depends on data consistency and visibility.

'Omnis AI Sensor' normalizes data collected from 5G, RAN, core, MEC, and transmission segments and provides it as an integrated view, while 'Omnis AI Streamer' is equipped with the capability to select and process telemetry data to provide it in a format that external AI systems or analysis platforms can utilize. The company explained that this enables the automation of the detection, analysis, and response processes for operations teams.

NetScout plans to introduce related solutions at the Mobile World Congress, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 2 to 5.
