Lotte Air Liquide Enerhigh accelerates the expansion of its hydrogen business by appointing Ahn Jung-soo as its new CEO.


Lotte Air Liquide Enerhigh announced that CEO Ahn officially took office on March 1, 2026, following resolutions by the board of directors and the general meeting of shareholders.

Lotte Air Liquide EnerHi is a hydrogen-specialized joint venture established at the end of 2022 through a joint investment by Lotte Chemical and Air Liquide Korea.

We have established a hydrogen shipping base in the Daesan area of South Chungcheong Province and secured differentiated competitiveness based on a 420 bar high-pressure hydrogen supply system, which is rare in the country.

Since commencing full-scale commercial operations last summer, the company has been rapidly solidifying its business foundation through expanded cooperation with key clients and improved operational efficiency.

Newly appointed CEO Ahn Jung-soo is a figure who has accumulated extensive experience in the global chemical and materials industry.

He joined Air Liquide Korea in 2019 and led the Large Industries business unit, and currently serves concurrently as the Vice President of External Affairs alongside that business unit.

Previously, having held various positions in process and project engineering, product management, and business development at DuPont Korea, Merck Korea, and Merck Advanced Technologies, the Korean and Southeast Asian marketswas in charge of.

The company expects that CEO Ahn's understanding of the industry as a whole and his business development capabilities will be a great asset in establishing EnerHi's mid-to-long-term growth strategy.

The plan is to actively respond to the changing hydrogen market, focusing particularly on the mobility sector, such as buses, where the demand for large-capacity hydrogen is rapidly increasing.
