Nota, a company specializing in lightweight AI models, is joining the government-led large-scale research and development project, the 'K-Moonshot' project, and is embarking on technological collaboration to commercialize next-generation physical AI.

Nota announced on the 12th that it plans to participate in the public-private cooperation system of the 'K-Moonshot Promotion Strategy' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and provide core technologies for implementing on-device AI and physical AI.

A total of 33 companies participated in this agreement, including major domestic AI and ICT companies such as LG AI Research Center, SK Telecom, Naver Cloud, KT, and Upstage.

K-Moonshot is a national strategic project aimed at increasing research productivity and solving key future challenges through AI-based scientific and technological innovation. The key is for the government and private sector to collaborate to build an ecosystem encompassing AI models, data, and computing infrastructure.

Nota will be responsible for on-device AI technology collaboration for this project, utilizing its own AI optimization platform, NetsPresso®.

Netpresso significantly reduces the size of AI models while maintaining performance, enabling efficient AI execution across a variety of device environments.

This is considered an essential technology in physical AI fields such as robotics and industrial automation.

In particular, Nota will play a role in increasing compatibility between domestic AI models and NPUs, providing an optimized environment that is not dependent on specific hardware.

The strategy is to create a structure in which domestic AI models and semiconductors are utilized together, and to increase the efficiency of utilizing the national AI infrastructure.
