WIRobotics, a global humanoid robot company, has been named to a robotics training program supported by global technology companies.

WeRobotics announced on the 13th that it has been selected as a participant in the second round of the 'Physical AI Fellowship', sponsored by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA and hosted by MassRobotics.

The Physical AI Fellowship is a global program that helps companies apply "physical AI" solutions, which combine robotics and artificial intelligence, to real-world industrial environments. It offers not only technological advancements but also cloud and AI infrastructure support and market entry opportunities.

Nine startups operating in diverse fields, including agriculture, construction, renewable energy, industrial automation, logistics, remote operation, and robot data infrastructure, were selected for this second round of the program. Among them, Werobotics is attracting attention as the only company specializing in humanoid robots.

Selected companies will receive up to $200,000 in AWS credits along with technical advice from experts at the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center. Additionally, the NVIDIA Inception program provides access to core technology stacks required for Physical AI development, including the NVIDIA Isaac framework and the Cosmos World Foundation model.

Additionally, participants will be granted access to MassRobotics' testbed and global robotics network. This will allow participating companies to test their technologies in real-world industrial settings and explore business expansion opportunities.

Through this program, Werobotics plans to further develop its humanoid robot system, combining high-precision manipulation technology with AI-based physical interaction capabilities. The strategy is to further enhance the technological sophistication through demonstrations in diverse environments, including industrial sites, logistics, and service sectors.

Kim Yong-jae, co-CEO of Werobotics, said, “It is very meaningful that we were the only humanoid robot company selected for the global Physical AI program,” and added, “We will present new industrial possibilities through robot technology that enables physical interaction similar to humans.”

Meanwhile, the Physical AI Fellowship 2 program will conclude with technology demonstrations at major global events with AWS, NVIDIA, and MassRobotics, and the participating companies' achievements will also be revealed at AWS re:Invent 2026.
