NICE D&R, a data specialist company, is partnering with the open source data analysis community to advance AI-based document creation technology.

NICE D&R announced on the 18th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea R User Association at its headquarters in Seoul for cooperation on AI writing using data and open source technology.

This agreement was pursued with the purpose of building a next-generation document creation environment by combining data assets and open source technology, and expanding related technology research and education.

Both organizations plan to proceed with various collaborative projects in stages, including joint research, the operation of technology education programs, and the demonstration of AI-based document creation technology.

In particular, through this collaboration, the establishment of a document automation environment utilizing Markdown and Quarto will begin in earnest.

This technology can automatically generate structured documents from data analysis results, and is expected to contribute to reducing repetitive document work and increasing work efficiency.

NICE D&R is a B2B data solution company that operates 'Nomubi.com', a co-growth service with an annual transfer amount of 50 trillion won.

Through this agreement, NICE D&R provides its data resources for research and demonstration purposes, and the Korea R User Association supports R-based data analysis and AI writing technology education.

NICE D&R is already Markdown-based We have applied document creation methods to practical work and, through past R-Markdown training, introduced automation technology to the price calculation tasks of the automotive price data service 'NICE Blue Mark'.

In line with the government's recent policy direction to convert public documents into structured data, the plan is to further expand the data-centric document environment.

Both organizations plan to expand the application of Quato-based AI writing technology that can be used not only in HTML but also in various document formats such as HWPX, PDF, and DOCX.

NICE D&R plans to gradually expand this across its entire data service portfolio, including automotive information and research.

The Korea R User Association also stated, “Document creation methods are rapidly shifting to a data-structure-centric collaborative environment,” adding, “Through this collaboration, we will contribute to the expansion of a data-centric document ecosystem.”
