Samsung Electronics has launched an exhibition targeting the European HVAC market, showcasing both central and residential HVAC solutions. At the event, the company prominently featured its collaboration with the Fläkt Group, which it acquired last year, and unveiled an HVAC portfolio encompassing everything from large-scale building systems to residential heating and cooling.

Samsung Electronics is holding a joint exhibition with Fläkt Group at MCE 2026, which is being held in Milan, Italy, from the 24th to the 27th (local time). This is the first exhibition in which both companies are participating together since the acquisition of Fläkt Group, and it serves as an opportunity to showcase the direction of expansion for the HVAC business in the European market.

The centerpiece of the exhibition is a central air conditioning system connecting Fläkt Group indoor units with Samsung Electronics outdoor units. The presentation showcased a configuration that enhances energy operational efficiency by linking indoor unit product lines, such as Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), with Samsung Electronics' 'DVM S2+' outdoor unit, and combining it with a Building Management System (BMS) and AI-based control. Another notable feature is the simultaneous display of equipment for managing temperature, humidity, and air quality in large spaces alongside compact indoor units designed for enhanced space efficiency.

The scope of application extends beyond general commercial facilities. Samsung Electronics is targeting industrial sectors that require precise temperature, humidity, and air management, such as data centers and cleanrooms. This is interpreted as a move to expand its HVAC business from the sale of individual products to the realm of industry-tailored integrated solutions.

At the residential exhibition, the 2026 'AI Wind-Free Combo Pro Wall-Mounted' and the heat pump-based 'EHS' lineup were introduced together. Among these, the 'EHS All-in-One' is a product that integrates cooling, heating, and hot water functions, designed to produce hot water using air source heat and electricity. By incorporating R32 refrigerant, waste heat recycling capabilities, and a SmartThings-based AI energy-saving mode, it caters to the European market, where there is high demand for energy savings.

In the commercial sector, the 'DVM' lineup of high-efficiency system air conditioners for large spaces was also exhibited. In particular, the 'DVM S2+' outdoor unit features a system that adjusts energy usage by learning the surrounding environment in real time based on on-device AI. The introduction of R32 refrigerant across the entire lineup was also highlighted.

This exhibition demonstrates that Samsung Electronics is moving beyond single-product competition in the European HVAC market to fully implement an integrated HVAC strategy that encompasses equipment integration, energy management, and industry-specific applications. Attention is focused on how the company will expand its HVAC system, bridging residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, through its partnership with the Fläkt Group.
