NVIDIA is strengthening the development ecosystem for Sovereign AI and LLM agents in Korea.

NVIDIA will host 'Nemotron Developer Days Seoul 2026' at D.CAMP Mapo in Seoul from April 21 to 22.

This marks the first time the global developer event 'Nemotron Developer Days' is being held in Korea, providing domestic AI researchers and developers with an opportunity to interact directly with NVIDIA researchers and experience the latest technologies.

Recently, governments and industries around the world are accelerating the development of 'Sovereign AI' that reflects their own languages and cultural characteristics.

Amidst this trend, NVIDIA's Nemotron open models, datasets, and libraries are establishing themselves as core tools.

This event is expected to become an important point of contact where the Korean AI ecosystem meets global technology trends.

The event begins with a keynote speech by Bryan Catanzaro, Vice President of Applied Research at NVIDIA.

Under the theme of 'Toolkit for Researchers,' he will introduce Nemotron-based model training and evaluation strategies and present methods for researchers to efficiently build customized AI agents. />
This will be followed by a technical masterclass featuring the NVIDIA Research Team.

This session features in-depth lectures covering the entire AI development process, including AI training data generation and scaling, foundation model pre-training, reinforcement learning and alignment techniques, and cost-effective inference strategies.

This is a rare opportunity for domestic developers to access the actual 'research notes' of global researchers.

In addition, a panel discussion will be held to connect the domestic AI industry with global technological leadership. As a venue to discuss the growth direction of the Korean AI ecosystem and potential for international cooperation, it is attracting significant attention from industry stakeholders.

The 'Nemotron Hackathon' will also be held simultaneously during the event. Participants will compete for 48 hours in three areas: development of creative agentic systems (Track A), building domain-specific Nemotron models (Track B), and designing SDG (Sustainable Development Goals)-based synthetic data pipelines (Track C).

This is a hands-on program where participants directly implement frontier models with NVIDIA architects, and the winning team is announced on the last day of the event.

In particular, the hands-on demo 'Build-a-Claw', which garnered significant attention at GTC 2026, will be unveiled for the first time in the world in Korea.

Participants can utilize the Nemotron model to design and customize their own LLM-based AI agents, and visual interaction elements are provided to allow for immediate results in the field.

This event is being held with the space sponsorship of D.CAMP Mapo, a youth startup foundation in the banking sector, and applications are being accepted on the official event page.

NVIDIA plans to use this event to strengthen cooperation with the Korean developer community and create an opportunity to spread the technological capabilities necessary for the era of sovereign AI within the country.
