The Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) unveiled 'ezAAS,' integrated software based on the Manufacturing Data Standard (AAS), and showcased field application cases from domestic manufacturing companies.

KETI announced that it operated a special AI Factory pavilion at 'SIMTOS 2026,' held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province from April 13 to 17, and unveiled examples of manufacturing data with applied AAS.

Previously, there were limitations in securing data integration and interoperability in manufacturing sites due to differences in data structures and utilization capabilities among companies. To address this, KETI developed ezAAS to enable manufacturing companies to generate, link, and utilize standard data based on AAS.

DN Solutions, Hyundai WIA, SMEC, Hwacheon, Daesung Hitech, HK, and Schaeffler Korea participated in this exhibition with technical support from KETI. These companies presented data generated from different facilities and systems organized into an AAS-based standard structure.

Equipment specifications and process information were presented in a format that can be utilized for digital twins and AI-based process optimization. Manufacturing solution companies such as Wizcore, Granco, Dlight, and Valiant Data also showcased the processes of generating, linking, and utilizing manufacturing data based on the ezAAS core module.

At this special exhibition, KETI unveiled field application cases of manufacturing data standards and solution integration cases. In the future, it plans to pursue integration with global data spaces and international standards.

Song Byung-hoon, Head of the Autonomous Manufacturing Research Center at KETI, stated that this exhibition served as an opportunity for major domestic equipment and solution companies to present a manufacturing AX data sharing structure based on standard technologies. He further predicted that the field application of AAS-based manufacturing data standards would expand starting this year.
