With the manufacturing industry demanding not only production efficiency but also supply chain stability, energy efficiency, and process flexibility, Siemens unveiled examples of applying industrial AI to manufacturing sites. The exhibition focused on demonstrating how AI is connecting with design, production, logistics, and power infrastructure.

Siemens Korea announced that the Siemens Group participated in 'Hannover Messe 2026,' held in Hanover, Germany from April 20 to 24 (local time), and exhibited industrial AI-related products and solutions.

The 'Eigen Engineering Agent' introduced at the exhibition is an AI-based solution that supports planning, execution, and verification tasks in the industrial automation engineering process. Siemens explained that, unlike existing recommendation-based AI tools, this technology is designed to be utilized within actual engineering workflows.

The application of AI in the engineering phase has also extended to the production and logistics sectors. Siemens introduced AI technology capable of performing tasks in real-world environments through examples of humanoids and physical AI developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. Based on examples of humanoid robots performing logistics tasks within a factory, it was demonstrated that processes verified in a digital environment can be connected to actual on-site operations.

In terms of supply chain operations, examples of collaboration with Pringles and PepsiCo were introduced. This involves an operational method that links production, inventory, and logistics data. Along with this, a modular 'pop-up factory' model was unveiled, presenting an approach to adjusting production configurations in response to changes in market demand.

The exhibition theme expanded beyond manufacturing processes to include power infrastructure. Siemens showcased DC-based power grids and semiconductor-based protection and switching systems to meet the increasing power demands of data centers.

Roland Busch, Chairman of the Siemens Group, stated that industrial AI will be a key factor influencing future industrial competitiveness.
