Evaluation of color reproduction, HDR, and AI picture processing… Focus on expanding competitiveness of premium TVs
Samsung Electronics announced that the 2026 Micro RGB TV 'R95H' was recently rated as a recommended product by UK IT media outlets Trusted Reviews and Expert Reviews, as well as US-based TechArris. Trusted Reviews and Expert Reviews gave the product a perfect score of 5 out of 5, while TechArris selected it as the '2026 Editor's Choice'.
Image processing performance was at the center of the evaluation. Trusted Reviews viewed the color accuracy in HDR environments and the level of implementation of Filmmaker Mode positively. It also evaluated that 4K upscaling utilizing the Micro RGB AI processor contributed to reducing noise while preserving detail.
The expert review focused on the glare-free feature. The explanation is that the feature reducing screen reflection acted as a factor enhancing immersion not only in bright spaces but also when watching dark scenes. The media outlet also mentioned support for AI features such as content recommendation, Copilot, and Perplexity in terms of user experience.
Tech Aris evaluated color reproduction, HDR performance, and gaming features together. Analyzing the product as suitable for consumers who value both brightness and color, they highlighted its usability in home theater and gaming environments as a key advantage.
The R95H is equipped with the 'Micro RGB AI Pro' processor. This processor analyzes scenes in real time, classifies color tones, and adjusts screen display. In addition, it combines 'Micro RGB Color Booster Pro' and 'Micro RGB HDR Pro' features to correct color and contrast for each scene.
This product has achieved 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut standard established by the International Telecommunication Union and has received 'Micro RGB Precision Color 100' certification from the German testing and certification body VDE.
In the premium TV market, key competitive factors are expanding beyond panel performance to include AI-based picture processing, adaptation to viewing environments, and the content experience. Amidst this trend, Samsung Electronics' Micro RGB TV is interpreted as a product that strengthens the differentiation strategy for its high-end TV lineup.
