The Industrial Education Research Institute is hosting a seminar to share industrial application strategies and technological trends in response to the spread of Physical AI. The event will discuss infrastructure development and directions for R&D utilization amidst the expanding adoption of intelligent systems across the manufacturing, logistics, and service sectors.

The Industrial Education Research Institute announced on the 18th that it will hold the 'Seminar on Recent Major Issues and Infrastructure R&D Utilization Strategies for the Great Transformation of Physical AI' on the 22nd, both online and offline. The seminar will take place from 10:00 AM to 5:10 PM on that day.

This seminar covers various technology fields, including the application of generative AI in robots and industrialization strategies. Key presentation topics include industrialization strategies based on physical AI, trends in synthetic data and on-device technology, industrial applications based on digital twins, robot learning based on VLM and VLA models, trends in robot hand technology, food tech convergence, and next-generation mobility technology.

The Industrial Education Research Institute explained that as intelligent systems combining robots, data, and automation technologies emerge as a factor in corporate competitiveness, the importance of related infrastructure and R&D strategies is expanding.

Recently, competition in physical AI technology—capable of perceiving the real environment and making autonomous judgments and actions—has been intensifying across the industry. Consequently, interest in related investments and market growth potential is also on the rise.

The research institute stated that this seminar will serve as a venue to share trends in physical AI technology and directions for industrial application, as well as an opportunity to explore corporate response strategies.
