Schneider Electric Korea continues to provide scholarship support to high school students aspiring to careers in the electrical, electronic, and information and communications fields. This initiative aims to support science and engineering career exploration at the youth level amidst growing demand for skilled technical personnel in industrial automation and energy management.

Schneider Electric Korea announced on the 28th that it held a 'Wings of Dreams' charity scholarship presentation ceremony at its headquarters in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 26th and presented scholarships to 12 high school students. Officials including Schneider Electric Korea CEO Kwon Ji-woong and Hanbit Social Welfare Center Director Lee Won-seok attended the event.

The 'Wings of Dreams' scholarship program was established to support youth in designing their career paths and maintaining their interest in technology. This year's scholarship recipients were selected from high school students interested in the fields of electrical, electronic, and information and communications.

The ceremony on this day focused on introducing the scholarship recipients and presenting scholarship certificates. A special career lecture featuring current industry professionals was also held. Kang Ki-beom, a manager at Schneider Electric Korea, shared advice on major selection and career planning based on his experience in the field.

"As the pace of industrial change accelerates, the role of talent to lead it becomes increasingly important," said Kwon Ji-woong, CEO of Schneider Electric Korea. "I hope this program serves as a starting point for students to expand their potential and design their future."

Schneider Electric Korea has been carrying out community-linked CSR activities with Hanbit Social Welfare Center since 2001. It has conducted educational volunteering in conjunction with the social welfare center, energy education for local children's centers, environmental cleanup plogging, and EM mud ball making activities, and plans to carry out related social contribution activities in the second half of this year as well.
