Etipos, a V2X (vehicle-to-object communication) technology company, has simultaneously obtained international standard certifications in the fields of quality, environment, and safety, completing the overhaul of its management system for global business operations.

Etipos announced on the 1st that it has obtained the 'ISO 3-Type Integrated Certification,' which includes ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Safety and Health Management System). The certification was obtained on May 28.

ISO 9001 refers to the product and service quality management system, ISO 14001 refers to the environmental impact management standard, and ISO 45001 refers to the industrial safety and health management system. These three certifications are used as international standards to evaluate the overall operations of a company.

This certification was pursued to meet the requirements for cooperation with global companies and participation in their supply chains. Etipos explained that through this certification, it has revamped its entire product development and supply process to align with international standards.

The company is pursuing businesses based on V2X communication technology and expanding cooperation opportunities with global clients. Whether or not there was a contract with a specific company, or the scale thereof, was not disclosed.

Etipos announced that it has secured a production base in Texas to enter the U.S. market. This is a measure to meet the U.S. federal government procurement regulations known as 'BABA (Buy America, Build America).'

The company stated that it is carrying out projects such as the Maricopa County V2X project in Arizona and is also participating in projects commissioned by U.S. Departments of Transportation (DOT) in various states.

In terms of technology, the company is expanding its business scope based on V2X direct communication modems. Application areas include logistics vehicles, construction machinery, and the defense industry, encompassing sectors where highly reliable communication is required.

Regarding the certification, a company official explained, “We have established a foundation for a management system to conduct global business,” adding, “We plan to maintain a continuous management system during the process of future business expansion.”
