DeepX is entering into a three-year mass production collaboration with AAEON Technology, a Taiwanese industrial computing company. The two companies plan to expand the supply of AI platforms for industrial sites by applying DeepX's Neural Processing Units (NPUs) to industrial computers and edge equipment.

DeepX announced on the 2nd that it signed a three-year global mass production cooperation agreement with Aon at COMPUTEX 2026 held in Taipei, Taiwan. DeepX CEO Kim Nok-won and Aon CEO Howard Lin attended the signing ceremony.

The core of this agreement is to apply DeepX NPU-based AI solutions to Aon's major product lines, including industrial computers (IPCs), single-board computers (SBCs), and edge gateways. The two companies have agreed to cooperate with the goal of expanding actual mass production and global sales, moving beyond technology verification.

DeepX will provide its own NPU architecture and DXNN SDK, while Aon plans to supply AI platform products based on industry standard specifications such as M.2, mPCIe, PCIe, and COM Express. Application fields include smart factories, autonomous mobile robots (AMR/AGV), smart cities, healthcare, retail, video security, and industrial safety.

Both companies explained that they have also secured initial orders from some clients. Aon’s industrial AI platform equipped with DeepX NPU is currently undergoing customer validation in the fields of video management systems (VMS), AI CCTV, marine drones, and industrial safety.

This collaboration aligns with the growing demand for on-device AI, which runs AI directly in industrial settings and inside devices. At this year's Computex, DeepX is unveiling examples of physical AI collaborations with over 30 hardware companies, including Aon.

CEO Kim Nok-won stated that he would drive the expansion of global AI infrastructure based on Aon's industrial platform and customer network. CEO Howard Lin also explained that through the combination of the two companies' technologies, they would provide edge AI solutions capable of long-term supply to industrial sites.

If mass production cooperation begins in earnest, the application of on-device AI semiconductors in industrial computing equipment is expected to expand.
