DEEPX, an ultra-low power AI semiconductor company, is partnering with global electronic component distributor Avnet to launch a full-scale entry into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market. It is a structure that expands the customer acquisition and technology verification system established through the master distribution agreement with Avnet Europe last year to 15 Asian countries.

DeepX announced on the 10th that it has formalized a product supply and trading cooperation system with Avnet Asia (Avnet Asia Pte Ltd.) and APAC regional entities.

With this collaboration, DeepX plans to target the local Asian market where demand for physical AI is expanding, including smart factories, robots, intelligent cameras, smart cities, industrial security and control, and edge AI equipment.

Avnet is a NASDAQ-listed company and a Fortune 500 firm with supply chains in over 140 countries and annual revenue of approximately 36 trillion won.

In Europe, proof-of-concept (PoC) and application software development based on DeepX NPU are currently underway for 25 companies.

According to Avnet Europe's business review for the second quarter of this year, there were 124 new DeepX-related business projects in Europe, with a potential business value estimated at 18.46 million euros (approximately 31.6 billion won).

DeepX plans to apply this business model, which leads to customer acquisition, PoC, application development, and mass production supply, to the APAC market.

Starting with Avnet’s ‘Avnet Edge & Beyond Tech Days 2026’ event in Singapore and Vietnam on the 10th, we plan to expand our customer reach by participating in local technology seminars and events.

DeepX is collaborating with over 20 distribution partners worldwide, including Avnet, WPG, Macnica, Serial, Digital China, and DigiKey.

In terms of the developer ecosystem, the Raspberry Pi-based development environment is being expanded.And, by linking with AI software such as Ultralytics YOLO and PaddlePaddle, it is lowering the barriers to field application.

In the industrial hardware sector, we are increasing instances of integrating NPU-based solutions into edge devices through collaborations with companies such as AAEON.
