Google Cloud and Samsung Electronics are strengthening their cooperation in the field of agentic AI. The partnership between the two companies is assessed to have entered a new phase, moving beyond the level of simple auxiliary tools to establish an enterprise-wide system of AI agents that perform tasks autonomously.

Google Cloud announced on the 13th that it is providing 'Gemini Enterprise' to all employees of Samsung Electronics' Device Experience (DX) division.

Both companies explained that this collaboration, which applies to the DX sector worldwide including Korea, is the largest instance of Google Cloud's enterprise agentic AI adoption in Korea.

Ruth Sun, President of Google Cloud Korea, said, “Business innovation in the agentic era is possible only by moving beyond productivity tools to the operational intelligence stage,” adding, “Gemini Enterprise will serve as an entry point for Samsung Electronics employees to enterprise AI and a foundation to support business innovation on a global scale.”

Google Cloud explained that employees in the DX division can connect internal distributed systems through a single point of contact via the Gemini Enterprise app and search and aggregate knowledge data within the organization in real time.

Moving forward, we plan to gradually establish our data environment and operating system to expand to the stage of introducing multi-step AI agents that autonomously handle complex workflows.

Support for low-code and no-code agent development is also included.

We plan to provide an agentic framework equipped with governance, security, and scalability, enabling personnel in business departments such as HR and marketing to configure task-specific agents without requiring separate development capabilities.

Gemini Enterprise is deployed in a Google Cloud tenant environment dedicated to Samsung Electronics' DX Division.

Corporate sensitive data It is a structure where processing takes place only within boundaries isolated from the outside, a method for securing data sovereignty and enterprise governance.

Based on this structure, Samsung Electronics plans to gradually expand the scope of AI utilization while managing its self-built business intelligence and automation workflows as internal assets.
