Samsung Electronics Supplies Customized HVAC Solutions to 100 Mosques in Saudi Arabia

Samsung Electronics announced on the 20th that it will supply approximately 1,000 units of its '360 Cassette' ceiling-mounted system air conditioners to about 100 mosques in eight major cities in Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh and Ramah.
Samsung Electronics explained that this product, designed with a circular structure, is equipped with the patented 'Booster Fan' technology to widely disperse cold air horizontally and achieve uniform cooling throughout the entire space.
The '360 Cassette' employs booster fan technology to reduce airflow loss in the blade-type design.
The company stated that the ceiling-mounted structure maximizes floor space utilization while enabling the even distribution of cold air throughout the entire interior of the mosque, which features high ceilings and an open layout.
A low-noise design has also been applied, taking the worship environment into consideration.
The outdoor unit is designed to maintain stable cooling performance even under Saudi Arabian climate conditions with an outdoor temperature of 50°C or higher.
Samsung Electronics applied an exclusive design reflecting traditional Islamic patterns to the panels of the products supplied this time, seeking harmony with the interior of the mosque.
In addition, last June, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ghoroos Charity, which is carrying out a local mosque renovation project, and plans to expand supply cooperation within Saudi Arabia.
Samsung Electronics is also expanding its B2B business in the Middle East in parallel.

Samsung Electronics has begun mass production of the PM1763, a PCIe 6.0-based enterprise SSD. Equipped with 9th generation V-NAND and a 4-nanometer process controller, it doubles read and write speeds compared to the previous generation and improves power efficiency by 1.8 times, enabling transfer of a 40GB LLM model in 1.4 seconds.
