In the phase of accelerating the energy transition, an expert with over 30 years of experience in the energy industry has been appointed as the head of Siemens Energy Korea.


Siemens Energy announced on the 20th the appointment of Seo Yong-hwan as the new CEO of Siemens Energy Korea.

The company stated that CEO Seo plans to oversee strategies for responding to the domestic energy market and support the achievement of decarbonization goals through collaboration with the government, clients, and partners.

CEO Seo, who graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kyungpook National University, served as a senior executive at GE Aerospace, GE Energy, and Doosan Heavy Industries.

He has extensive leadership experience in engineering, power generation, business development, and operations, and served as President and CEO of GE Aerospace Korea's aviation services business unit for over 10 years prior to joining Siemens Energy Korea.
