Keysight Korea (CEO and President Yoon Duk-kwon) announced the completion of verification of an end-to-end IP data transfer rate of 587.5 Mbps downlink using its E7515A UXM wireless test set. Keysight achieved a continuous bidirectional 3GPP UE Category 11 data rate using 3CC and 256 QAM on the downlink.

Joe Depond, General Manager of Keysight’s Mobile Broadband business unit, stated, “Users can experience faster data speeds when 256 QAM modulation is combined with 3-component carrier aggregation in the downlink,” adding, “UXM’s powerful architecture provides the flexibility needed for the rapid advancement of today’s wireless technology, accelerating time-to-market for high-end devices and increasing data speeds for end users.”

UXM’s built-in fading capabilities, integrated application server, and easy-to-use touchscreen interface simplify LTE-A design and help engineers verify the true data performance of devices. UXM also supports flexible receiver test functions, such as Keysight’s X-Series measurement applications for RF transmitter testing, closed-loop testing, and advanced configurable channel assignment, providing advanced capabilities for device performance characterization and design evaluation.
