Nota, a company specializing in AI model lightweighting, joins AMD's robotics partner ecosystem, expanding the application of its on-device AI optimization technology into robotics. The plan is to expand the scope of business by integrating edge AI capabilities built in the fields of smart cities, industrial safety, and mobility into robot systems.

Nota announced its participation in the AMD Robotics Partner Network at AMD Advancing AI 2026, held in San Francisco, USA, on the 24th.

The AMD Robotics Partner Network is an open ecosystem that supports the development and deployment of robotics solutions in embedded, edge, and cloud environments based on AMD computing technology.

Based on the AMD verification platform, it is a structure in which specialized manufacturers (ODM), independent software vendors (ISV), sensor suppliers, and system integrators (SI) participate and collaborate throughout the entire process from the development to the deployment of robotics solutions.

Nota explained that due to the nature of robots operating in environments with limited power, memory, and computing resources, optimization technology is essential to run AI models directly inside the device.

Nota announced that, based on AI model lightweighting and hardware-customized optimization technologies, it plans to support stable AI operation even with limited resources by adjusting model size, computational load, and memory usage to match the processors and system environments installed in actual robots.
