Manager Lee Jun-ho stated, "STMicroelectronics is focusing on providing the entire pathway for companies and developers developing Matter products to quickly create products and proceed with certification through an integrated ecosystem that combines STM32-based hardware options, X-CUBE-Matter software package, pre-validated stack, DAC and private key injection support, Secure Boot and secure storage, NFC commissioning, and Matter bridge examples."

ST Microelectronics has launched the 'IIS3DWB10IS', an AI-embedded vibration sensor for industrial condition monitoring. ST Launches 6-Axis Automotive IMU… Supplements Position Estimation in GNSS Blind Spots
STMicroelectronics has launched the ASM330LHHG1, a new automotive inertial measurement unit (IMU). The new product is a 6-axis IMU combining a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope, and by synchronizing and outputting data from both sensors, it enhances vehicle position estimation and motion detection accuracy. It can complement dead reckoning in environments where GNSS signals are weak or intermittent, and is expected to be utilized in vehicle electrical system applications such as V2X, telematics, electronic toll collection, and accident reconstruction.

ST Launches 48V Automotive Predriver 'L98GD8E'
ST마이크로일렉트로닉스가 48V 자동차 전장 시스템용 프리드라이버 IC ‘L98GD8E’를 출시했다. 이 제품은 ISO 21780 표준을 충족하는 8채널 MOSFET 프리드라이버로, 하이사이드·로우사이드 구성을 모두 지원한다. 마일드 하이브리드 시스템과 전동 컴프레서, 통합 시동발전기(ISG) 등 48V 기반 보조 전장 장치를 대상으로 설계됐으며, EMC 대응을 위한 슬루율 제어와 다양한 진단·보호 기능을 통합했다. 차량 전동화 확대와 함께 증가하는 48V 전력 네트워크 수요에 대응할 수 있는 솔루션으로 평가된다.

ST Launches Multiplier-Free PFC Controller 'L6462A'
STMicroelectronics launched the 'L6462A' transition mode power factor correction (PFC) controller with a multiplier-free architecture on June 18. By generating sinusoidal reference signals using a current source and waveform shaper instead of a voltage sensor and analog multiplier, it enables the design of boost PFC converters without external voltage dividers. With standby current as low as 60μA or less and valley switching, it meets eco-friendly design standards and supports cost reduction and efficiency improvement in power supply units for home appliances such as up to 250W-class battery chargers, power adapters, and flat-panel TVs. Pricing starts from $0.18 based on 1,000 units.

ST Launches Ultra-compact dToF 3D LiDAR Module 'VL53L9'
STMicroelectronics launched VL53L9, its first dToF 3D LiDAR all-in-one module targeting spatial awareness for small MCU-based edge AI, on June 23rd. Employing a stacked BSI SPAD sensor and metasurface optical elements, it delivers measurements with up to 1% accuracy ranging from under 5cm to 9m, offering a 54°×42° field of view, 2,268-zone resolution, and 100 frames per second. The module integrates on-chip dToF processing and a dedicated power management IC, eliminating the need for separate calibration to reduce system complexity and cost. Applications include robotics, industrial automation, smart buildings, AR/VR, and healthcare. Mass production is scheduled to begin in early July 2026.
