Samsung Electronics Begins Pre-sales for Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Flip 8, and Watch 9

Samsung Electronics has begun pre-sales of its 8th-generation foldable phone and new smartwatch lineup.Three foldable phones and two watches are being unveiled simultaneously, along with storage upgrade benefits and a subscription program.
Samsung Electronics announced on the 27th that it will conduct pre-sales for the 'Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra', 'Galaxy Z Fold8', 'Galaxy Z Flip8', 'Galaxy Watch Ultra2', and 'Galaxy Watch9' from midnight on the 28th until August 3rd.
The official domestic launch date is August 7, and pre-order customers can receive and activate the product starting August 4.
The 'Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra' will be released in four colors: Violet Shadow, Graphite, Cream, and Green Shadow.
The prices are 2,577,300 won for the 12GB memory and 256GB storage model, 2,830,300 won for the 512GB model, and 3,451,800 won for the 16GB memory and 1TB model.
The 'Galaxy Z Fold 8' features lavender and grappaIt comes in four varieties: nut, cream, and pistachio, priced at 2,278,100 won for the 256GB model, 2,531,100 won for the 512GB model, and 3,152,600 won for the 1TB model.
The 'Galaxy Z Flip 8' comes in four colors: pink, graphite, cream, and mint, and is priced at 1,683,000 won for the 256GB model and 1,936,000 won for the 512GB model.
The Green Shadow, Pistachio, and Mint colors are sold only on Samsung.com and as unlocked models exclusive to Samsung Gangnam.
Pre-sale channels will be operated across online and offline platforms, including Samsung Stores nationwide, Samsung.com, and mobile carrier stores, and live commerce will also be held on Samsung.com, Coupang, Naver, 11st, and Gmarket at midnight on the 28th.
Samsung Electronics offers a 'Double Storage' benefit to customers who pre-order the 256GB model, upgrading the capacity to the 512GB model.
Customers who purchase the 512GB 'Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra' or 'Galaxy Z Fold8' can switch to the 1TB model (16GB memory) for an additional 310,700 won.
This is half the 621,500 won difference in list price between the two models.
In addition, 10% discount coupons for the 'Galaxy Watch Ultra 2' and 'Galaxy Watch 9', as well as 30% discount coupons for accessories, are provided through the Samsung.com app.
Content benefits such as a 6-month Google AI Pro subscription and a 3-month Willa subscription are also provided.

Benefits include up to 50% residual value compensation upon returning the device after one year, Samsung Care+, and discounts on accessory packages.
The monthly subscription fee for the 'Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra' and 'Galaxy Z Fold8' is 9,900 won for the 1- or 2-year plan and 14,500 won for the 3-year plan, while for the 'Galaxy Z Flip8' it is 8,900 won for the 1- or 2-year plan and 11,500 won for the 3-year plan.
The 'Galaxy Watch Ultra 2' (LTE) is 969,100 won, the 'Galaxy Watch 9' 44mm LTE model is 569,800 won, and the 40mm LTE model is 529,100 won.
Customers who make a purchase by August 31 will receive two 50% discount coupons for exclusive bands and a 6-month subscription to 'Timeflick Watch Faces'.

Samsung Electronics' Galaxy S26 Ultra ranked first in smartphone evaluations by major consumer associations in seven European countries. In assessments conducted in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and Sweden, the device received consistently high scores across overall usability including security features, camera, battery, and display. Samsung Electronics Strengthens Galaxy Security 'Preemptive Blocking'
Samsung Electronics announced on the 17th that it is advancing the Galaxy security system with a threat pre-blocking approach. Starting with 'One UI 9.0' in the second half of this year, phishing apps confirmed as malicious will be blocked not only from installation but also from execution, and security policies will be periodically updated based on data from government agencies including the National Police Agency and KISA. From Galaxy S25 onwards, AI will learn from KISA's monthly 500,000 cases of data to automatically classify smishing, and with the S26's call screening and voice phishing suspicious call alerts, on-device AI will analyze risk levels in real-time.
