Siemens presented an agentic workflow where AI plans, executes, and debugs tasks, emphasizing accuracy through physics-based engines. Synopsys and Cadence are competing in a similar direction, sharing Nvidia technology. While AI automation increases productivity, token cost management has emerged as a new challenge. As AI connects tools from multiple vendors, platform lock-in weakens and engine accuracy is becoming the key competitive advantage.
