Snowflake, a global leader in the AI data cloud sector, is reshuffling its Korean subsidiary leadership to accelerate domestic business expansion. The new branch manager is an IT sales and management expert with experience at Google Cloud and Korea Microsoft.

 

Snowflake announced on the 18th that it has appointed Lee Yong-seok as the new Korea branch manager. Manager Lee is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the enterprise software field and will oversee all domestic business operations, sales, and partnerships. Snowflake stated that it plans to strengthen support for key industry customers in manufacturing, finance, and distribution sectors, as well as partner companies.

 

 

Manager Lee served at Google Cloud for six years starting in 2020, leading digital transformation (DX) and go-to-market strategies based on AI, data, security, and infrastructure solutions targeting large enterprise customers. Previously, he worked at Korea Microsoft for 16 years, serving in various positions including △small and medium-sized enterprise (SMB) and distribution partner business △government, education, and healthcare public sector projects △manufacturing and distribution enterprise commercial operations.

 

Manager Lee stated, "I will combine the experience I have accumulated across all industry sectors with Snowflake's technological capabilities to establish a collaborative ecosystem where domestic enterprise customers and partner companies grow together, and will work to connect data and AI to tangible business outcomes."
