L&F Selected as '2026 World-Class Achievement Excellence Company' - Honored with Minister's Commendation from Ministry of Industry

This commendation was awarded to companies classified as "exceeding requirements for graduation" among approximately 380 companies participating in World-Class 300, meaning they exceeded 1 trillion won in sales for two consecutive years within the past three years. Seven companies, including L&F, were selected as achievement excellence companies.
Exports increased 786.5% during the same period from 242.2 billion won to 2.147 trillion won, and the number of employees expanded 1,018.6% from 172 to 1,924.
The company plans to diversify its portfolio by adding an LFP line to its existing high-nickel NCM cathode material-focused business base, and strengthen its medium to long-term growth foundation.

L&F has joined a regional industrial artificial intelligence transformation (AX) collaboration involving the four major science and technology institutes and participating companies. The memorandum of understanding ceremony held at KAIST on March 23rd is a follow-up to the government's '4 Major Science and Technology Institutes AX Strategy' announced on March 11th, and aims to establish a structure in which research institutions and companies jointly solve problems in regional industrial sites. L&F previously began AX collaboration with DGIST in the robotics and mobility sectors in January. Alongside this, the company is pursuing regional talent recruitment and new investments within the Daegu National Industrial Complex, connecting technology collaboration, talent acquisition, and production base expansion as an integrated initiative.

L&F and CIS Chemical Collaborate on Battery Recycling… Full-scale Establishment of Domestic Circular Supply Chain
L&F has begun battery recycling cooperation with CIS Chemical, formally launching a domestic-centered resource circulation system. The two companies will pursue comprehensive collaboration across the entire cycle, including raw material procurement, full-process technology cooperation, and quality standard establishment, targeting LFP and NCM batteries. Through this, the plan is to secure a stable supply chain for critical minerals and establish a structure for reinvesting recycled materials into cathode material production. In particular, through a circular model linking pre-treatment and post-treatment processes, the companies plan to reduce dependence on overseas raw materials and expand to future commercialization and ESG response measures.

L&F Completes Daegu LFP Plant… Competition to Expand Non-China Supply Chains Intensifies
L&F has completed the factory of 'L&F Plus', a subsidiary dedicated to LFP cathode materials, and will begin mass production by the end of the third quarter this year. This is interpreted as a move by domestic battery material companies to accelerate non-China supply chain establishment within the global LFP supply structure centered on China. The company plans to respond to the expansion of the ESS and mass-market electric vehicle markets based on high-density third-generation LFP technology and precursor internalization. L&F is executing a strategic investment in CIS Chemical, which holds technology for 98% lithium carbonate recovery, thereby accelerating the establishment of a battery recycling value chain. As a follow-up to the May MOU, L&F will secure priority allocation of LFP recycling capacity by 2027 and pursue joint research and development in key areas including Clean-MHP development and LFP recycled material technology. This strategy aims to simultaneously strengthen competitiveness in recycled material supply chains and secure ESG responsiveness amid the EU's mandatory use of recycled raw materials and strengthened domestic support legislation for the spent battery industry.
