150kHz-class induction heating system using SiC implemented at 99.7% efficiency

The EVAL-2KW-SIC-IH is a 2kW-class induction heating evaluation board applying Infineon's 650V CoolSiC™ MOSFET G2, achieving high-frequency operation from 100 to 150kHz and maximum 99.7% efficiency, demonstrating the potential for high-efficiency and high-power-density design. In particular, compared to existing solutions, it offers improved efficiency, reduced heat generation, and simplified cooling systems, along with expertise in gate driver, PCB layout, and resonant inverter design, earning recognition as a practical reference platform for power electronics engineers to develop next-generation induction heating systems.
