July 23, 2015 – CSR (http://www.csr.com), a global provider of innovative semiconductor ICs and software solutions in the fields of location awareness, multimedia, and cloud connectivity, announced that BrilliantTS (http://www.brilliantts.com), a leading manufacturer of smart hardware and software solutions, has developed a smart multi-card using its CSR1013™ technology.

Smart Multi Card utilizes a smartphone's Bluetooth to manage credit and debit cards simply and securely, enabling payments in various ways. The CSR1013 Bluetooth Smart System-on-Chip (SoC), boasting a thin thickness of 0.35mm, is available in a 2.4mm x 2.6mm WL-CSP package. BrilliantTS used the ultra-thin CSR1013 chipset to develop standard-sized smart cards, such as EMV cards (Europay, Mastercard, Visa), that are compatible with existing POS and ATM systems.

The All-in-One smart card is designed to allow the registration of over 30 cards to reduce the number of cards in a wallet. It supports not only credit and debit cards but also public transportation, IC, magnetic, NFC, and OTP, and can be used for various applications such as door keys.

In addition to the CSR1013 ultra-thin package, Bluetooth 4.1 solutions can be designed with low power consumption, 128KB of memory (RAM+ROM), and a low eBOM. In addition, it is suitable for various smart devices such as sports equipment and wearables, as well as next-generation financial payment and security cards. The price is set reasonably to enable these products to be active in the market.

The CSR1013 CSP is part of the proven family of CSR μEnergy single-mode low-power Bluetooth platforms.
