Ultra-short throw LG MiniBeam projects a 100-inch large screen 38cm away

LG Electronics has launched an ultra-short throw Mini Beam (model name: PF1000U) that allows users to enjoy extra-large images even with a short projection distance. This product utilizes the principle of mirror reflection to dramatically reduce the distance required for image projection.

The new Mini Beam product can create a large 100-inch (254cm) screen with a minimum distance of only about 38cm between the projector and the screen, which is one-tenth the level of a standard projector.

Since the distance between the product and the screen is short, there is almost no chance of the light path being obstructed, allowing it to be used anywhere, such as the living room or bedroom. For example, when used in the living room, pets or children will not block the screen, enhancing the sense of immersion.

This product supports Full HD resolution, a maximum brightness of 1,000 lumens*, and a contrast ratio of 150,000 to 1, providing bright and clear images even on large screens. It is also highly portable, weighing only 1.9 kg, which is among the world's lightest for ultra-short throw projectors.

Also, the 4-Corner Keystone* function eliminates screen distortion even if the projector is placed on an uneven surface.

The new mini beam is equipped with Bluetooth functionality, allowing it to wirelessly connect to audio devices that support Bluetooth, such as soundbars and speakers. For example, if a user wants to enjoy magnificent sound befitting the screen size while watching a movie on a large screen, they can connect it to a soundbar.

Connectivity with peripherals is also excellent. Features such as WiDi and Miracast, which allow wireless connection with smart devices, enable users to easily enjoy content stored on PCs or smartphones. The price of this product is 1.59 million won.
