Anritsu Successfully Holds 2015 Conformance Test Seminar

The 2015 Conformance Test Seminar (hereinafter referred to as the Anritsu CT Seminar), hosted by Anritsu Corporation (CEO Hyun-Gil Yoo), was successfully concluded at the Pangyo headquarters training center.

Anritsu Seminar, held annually since 2008, is a seminar for domestic chipset/UE terminal developers and test houses. It is a place to strengthen customer partnerships by explaining the latest LTE technology trends and updates to customers.

The 3GPP/GCF/PTCRB status update was a very important session, as mobile service providers and terminal manufacturers belonging to GCF/PTCRB must conduct testing using GCF/PTCRB-certified equipment in order to release the developed LTE terminals to the market.

In addition, we introduced new LTE technologies, operator trends and market conditions, and Anritsu's new certification equipment, ME7873LA, and held RCT and PCT update sessions.

In this seminar, an external lecturer was invited to give a lecture on LTE wireless technology.

Additionally, a booth was set up where Anritsu's representative equipment, such as the MD8475A, MT8821C, Shockline VNA MS46121A, MD8430A, and ME7834L (PCT), could be demonstrated, and expert engineers were available to answer questions and provide consultations about the products. All attendees were given a Bluetooth headset as a gift and an event was held where restaurant gift certificates were given away through a raffle.

Attendees evaluated it as a useful time to directly experience the latest trends in the wireless communications field and changes in mobile communications technology and share technological issues.

In his welcoming address, Anritsu Corporation Sales Director Daeseong Jeong said, “This year marks the 120th anniversary of the founding of Anritsu headquarters,” and added, “Anritsu promises to continue to do its best to provide the products and technologies needed to support LTE terminal development, mass production, and certification testing.”
