Programmable Keithley Power Supply Offering Maximum 1080W Output

Tektronix recently announced new products including the Keithley power supply product line and a 60MHz arbitrary function generator boasting best-in-class price-to-performance ratio, providing engineers with a wide selection of essential test and measurement equipment to add to their test benches.

Like Tektronix oscilloscopes, signal generators and other flexible, cost-effective multi-function test and measurement equipment, Keithley power supplies are synonymous with well-equipped engineering workbenches found in R&D laboratories, manufacturing facilities, service centers or universities. Considering the wide range of potential applications, it is essential to provide a broad range of test and measurement instrument performance levels and price points that can be customized to fit each customer's bench requirements.

Eight New DC Power Supply Models

Tektronix demonstrated its enthusiasm for pursuing multi-functionality by announcing eight new programmable DC power supplies. New additions to the Keithley Series 2260B power supply product line include six new 250V and 800V high-voltage models, a new 108A high-current model and a new 80V/40A 1080W high-power model. The newly added products further expand the application range of the Series 2260B product line by enabling power to be supplied to higher power, high-voltage, high-current components, sub-assemblies and products.

The Series 2260B power supply provides programmable rise and fall time control for both voltage and current waveforms. This allows engineers to generate optimal output voltage source waveforms, preventing overshoot from high inrush current and damage to the device under test. Additionally, through the embedded programmable output resistance function, battery output can be simulated for testing high-power portable battery products. In addition to this multi-functionality, the Series 2260B power supply features a compact size, allowing six 360W models, three 720W models or two 1080W models to be mounted in a single rack line.

AFG1062 Boasting Best-in-Class Price-to-Performance Ratio

Compared to scope-based signal generators or standalone AFGs in the same price range, Tektronix AFG1000 series instruments offer superior performance and flexibility. The AFG1062 is an expanded model of the series, featuring impressive specifications for the price including dual channels with equivalent performance, 60MHz bandwidth with output amplitude of 1mVpp to 10Vpp, 14-bit vertical resolution and 1µHz frequency resolution. The product also provides a record length of 1M points along with 300MS/s sampling rate and USB memory expansion capability for user-defined waveforms.

With the addition of AFG1062, Tektronix can now offer educational institutions the most complete combination of economical test and measurement equipment in the industry, all of which can be integrated with the TekSmartLab wireless lab equipment management solution, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, digital multimeters and power supplies.

The AFG1062 includes 50 built-in standard functions and arbitrary waveforms along with continuous, modulation, sweep and burst modes to accommodate a wide range of applications. This instrument features a 10cm TFT color display, shortcut buttons and a rotary knob that enable quick setting adjustments for ease of use. Additionally, the compact form factor saves precious workspace.

All eight new Keithley 2260B Series DC power supplies are currently being supplied domestically, with the lowest price starting at 1,790,000 won (excluding VAT). The AFG1062 model is also currently available for supply domestically at a price of 1,060,000 won (excluding VAT) including a 5-year warranty.
