At Autodesk University 2015 , AMD unveiled the AMD FirePro™ W4300, which delivers CAD performance in small form factors and tower workstation environments.

The AMD FirePro W4300 is a low-profile product designed to be installed in both small form factor and standard systems by combining a powerful GPU with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. Therefore, through this product, companies can manage devices more simply and efficiently by applying a single standard professional graphics solution to their workstation systems.

Efficiently perform geometric model design

The AMD FirePro W4300 professional graphics card is optimized for ^use with the latest CAD applications such as ^{Autodesk® AutoCAD} , Inventor, ^Revit® , ^{DassaultSystèmesSolidWorks®} , ^CATIA® , ^{PTC Creo®} , and Siemens NX™. Experts can perform large-scale geometric model design more efficiently and apply GPU acceleration features to projects, such as the newly supported OIT mode in SolidWorks.

Based on the AMD Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture, the AMD FirePro W4300 boasts high versatility and performance, and offers the following features. Equipped with 4GB of GDDR5 GPU memory, it delivers enhanced workflow application responsiveness even in large-scale projects.

Use up to 6 ultra-high resolution displays through multi-display technology

With AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology, up to six ultra-high-resolution displays can be used. Users can perform multitasking more easily with multiple applications and displays.

It features four DisplayPort 1.2a connection standards (supporting up to six DisplayPort monitors via an MST-enabled hub) and AMD FreeSync™ technology, which eliminates tearing by adjusting the display refresh rate, making it suitable for media, entertainment applications, and workflows. By supporting OpenCL™ 2.0, developers can utilize GPUs in various ways according to their design intent.

The product launch is scheduled for 2016.

It features a maximum power consumption of 50W, suitable for low-profile form factors, and is equipped with proprietary power monitoring and management technology. It performs dynamic optimization of GPU power consumption through AMD PowerTune technology and reduces power consumption in idle state through AMD ZeroCorePower technology.
AMD has further enhanced the performance and reliability of this product through over 100 different application certifications widely used in design, engineering, media, and entertainment. AMD FirePro Professional graphics drivers are updated frequently throughout the year, including performance and feature improvements.
