Milestone Systems, the number one company in the open platform CCTV integrated control (VMS) sector for two consecutive years (HIS Research), unveiled a new partner community strategy at the '2016 Milestone Open Platform Symposium' held in Arizona, USA.

At this forum, Milestone Systems shared its vision for future-oriented solutions across solutions, services, and applications with partners and customers. All global partners will be able to add various high-performance add-on software programs to 'Xprotect'. Furthermore, the company is strengthening its marketing efforts to expand business opportunities by providing in-house training and advisory services to facilitate the easier development and integration of add-on applications into the Milestone Systems platform, and by actively introducing these services.

Through an open community, we plan to create new value for customers, accelerate the speed of innovation, and shorten product development time, while laying the foundation for high-speed growth together with partners and Milestone Systems.

Milestone Systems' 2016 partner community strategies are as follows: Form a Partner Advisory Committee to provide direction to the community and prioritize the roadmap. Host developer forums to enhance development experiences. Strengthen API documentation and advance the Software Development Kit (SDK) to the next level. Expand the solution certification system to guarantee consistent, high quality. Open an online marketplace where partners can introduce various add-on applications developed through Milestone Systems. We introduce a program for public marketing with partner companies.

Through this, Milestone Systems focuses on its role as a member of the community rather than standing at the center of the platform, establishing a single community where both partners and customers can grow together to enhance the value of the video management system. The goal is to achieve mutual growth with partners as business opportunities increase at an even faster pace as the community grows.

In 2015, the monthly download count of Milestone Systems’ Software Development Kit (SDK) more than doubled, and the number of applications connected to XProtect increased by approximately 30%. This is of great significance as it was driven by the Milestone developer partner community responding to customer needs.

The Si827x gate driver, utilizing Silicon Labs' proprietary capacitive-coupled isolation technology, offers very low electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions, a long lifespan, fast and accurate timing specifications, and a wide temperature range of -40 to +125 °C.
