A test to assess design and creative skills for 'Altera FPGA'
The first place winner receives a prize of 30 million won.

Altera Korea announced on March 8 that it has started accepting online registrations for the fourth Altera Design Contest in Korea, co-hosted with Altera’s sales and technical support partner Axios, following last year.

This contest is part of the Altera University Program and aims to encourage Korean undergraduate and graduate students to design innovative SoPC system designs using Altera FPGAs, discover their creativity and FPGA design capabilities, and facilitate the design of SoPC systems. Winners will be announced at an official awards ceremony, with a total prize pool of 15 million KRW. Following the submission of final reports and the selection of winning teams, the awards ceremony will feature presentations of the winning projects and the determination of rankings on the same day.

Each individual or team must submit a registration application via the contest landing page (www.axios.co.kr) by May 5, and any university or graduate student may participate in this contest individually or as a team. The 8 selected teams will present their works on the day of the awards ceremony, December 22, and the final 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, as well as 5 teams for the Excellence Award, will be determined by the judging panel on that day.
