Seoul Semiconductor Co., Ltd., a global LED specialist, announced today the launch of its new products 'Z7' and 'Z6' from the Z-Power LED Z series, a high-brightness LED product line. The company stated that it plans to release one to two new LED products every month to meet the diverse needs of its customers, as the LED lighting market is expected to be active this year.

The newly released Z-Power LED Z7 series is a high-brightness white LED for lighting featuring 4W performance and a special ceramic substrate, providing a brightness of 440lm at a color temperature of 5500K. Notably, the Z7 series replaces the award-winning P7 LED series and is offered in an ultra-compact package of 9 x 7 x 3.2mm to facilitate convenient application in various indoor and outdoor lighting products.

The footprint of the Z7 series products has been dramatically reduced to about one-seventh of that of the company's existing P7 series products, and in particular, it offers superior brightness and efficiency while being thinner than competitor products. The Z7 series is optimized for commercial lighting applications such as downlights and PAR30s, as well as indoor and outdoor lighting fields requiring stability and a long lifespan, such as streetlights and tunnel lighting.
