Solving Engineers' Complex mmWave Design Verification Challenges

Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS), a leading technology company that helps enterprises, service providers and governments accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2016) that it has unveiled the industry's first integrated mmWave (millimeter wave) design verification and manufacturing solution for the 802.11ad standard.

Keysight's new wideband mmWave (millimeter wave) 5G channel sounding reference solution supports device testing for the 802.11ad standard during design verification and manufacturing. The solution's bandwidth and frequency coverage meet the needs of early adopters testing 802.11ad chipsets and devices. It enables performance analysis across baseband and mmWave frequencies and provides the flexibility to conduct parallel device testing. It also offers a variety of device-under-test (DUT) connection options to optimize test system design.

The solution goes beyond standard requirements to provide analysis of a device's actual performance, while also enabling engineers to easily create the waveforms required for component and device testing.
