Keysight Demonstrates LTE-A Pro IP Data Throughput of Over 1Gbps

Keysight Technologies showcased the latest performance of the E7515 UXM wireless test set at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2016).
Keysight successfully demonstrated 1 Gbps LTE-A Pro end-to-end IP data throughput using UXM's 3CC, 4x4 and 2x2 downlink MIMO, and 256 QAM downlink modulation. In addition, it showcased the industry's first 5CC data throughput and 1.6 Gbps data throughput using 4CC and 4x4 downlink MIMO.
In addition to increased data throughput, UXM further enhances the ability to verify device performance by supporting 8x2 and 8x4 downlink MIMO, four component carriers, and integrated iPerf network throughput tools on a single test set (2 bands).
Satish Dhanasekaran, General Manager of Wireless Devices and Operations at Keysight, said, “With support for download speeds of over 1Gbps, the powerful UXM platform continues to provide market-leading data throughput testing capabilities. In addition, the latest UXM enables wireless device engineers to verify designs more efficiently through parallel testing, enhanced VoLTE performance, and the use of WLAN calling/offloading.”
Currently, UXM supports integrated IMS server performance such as IMS logging and easy dedicated bearer setup, as well as UE-to-UE VoLTE calls in a single test set. In addition, WLAN calling/offloading ensures a smooth transition between LTE and Wi-Fi for Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

Keysight Demonstrates mmWave/802.11AD Design Verification Manufacturing Solution
Keysight Technologies announced that it unveiled the industry's first integrated mmWave (millimeter-wave) design verification and manufacturing solution for the 802.11ad standard at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2016). Keysight's new wideband mmWave 5G channel sounding Reference Solution supports device testing for the 802.11ad standard in design verification and manufacturing. The solution's bandwidth and frequency coverage meet the requirements of early adopters testing 802.11ad chipsets and devices. It enables performance analysis of baseband and millimeter-wave frequencies and provides flexibility to perform parallel testing of devices. Additionally, it offers various DUT (device-under-test) connection options to optimize the design of the test system.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
