AMD Supports Supercomputing-Class Performance for Virtual Reality Content

AMD’s Radeon™ Pro Duo, equipped with the LiquidVR™ SDK, is a product developed for various virtual reality content creation environments, including entertainment, education, journalism, medical, and film.
With high computing power reaching 16 teraflops, it provides perfect performance to virtual reality developers. This enables developers to create content that delivers powerful virtual reality experiences more quickly, and also allows them to enjoy the latest DirectX® 12 experience even in environments requiring the highest specifications.
AMD has been working consistently to solve various problems faced by developers, including close collaboration with the content development community and improving latency and accelerating the building of virtual reality pipelines through AMD Liquid VR™ technology. AMD Radeon™ Pro Duo is equipped with powerful dual GPUs to provide high performance to virtual reality developers, content creators, and consumers, and plans to continue its leading position in the future virtual reality industry.

The newly unveiled AMD Radeon™ Pro Duo is the initial model of the AMD VR Ready Creator product family. In addition, this product is also used as a platform for Crytek's VR First™, which supports virtual reality research labs in partnership with universities and educational institutions around the world with the goal of fostering talent in the field of virtual reality development.
