Dassault Systèmes Opens Global Design Support Center 'DXL-Lab'

Global design group INNO Design (CEO Kim Young-se) held an opening ceremony for the design accelerator lab 'DXL-Lab' at the INNO Design headquarters in Pangyo on March 28, marking INNO Design's 30th anniversary, together with Dassault Systèmes Korea (CEO Cho Young-bin), a leader in 3D solutions. DXL-Lab (www.dxllab.com) is a design support center established to foster the development of the domestic design industry, fostering next-generation global designers and supporting small and medium-sized venture companies.
At the opening ceremony, attended by key organizations including the Seongnam Industrial Promotion Foundation, the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), and the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI), InnoDesign Chairman Kim Young-se stated, “Many domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are often overlooked in the global market due to their design, even if their technology is outstanding. Through the establishment of this design support center, domestic SMEs can now secure global competitiveness and receive professional support for entering the global market.” He added, “I hope that DXL-Lab will grow into a leading educational institution in Korea through Dassault Systèmes’ cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which has been proven in the global market.”
Dassault Systèmes supplies the cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform to DXL-Lab. The center was established based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and Dassault Systèmes' solutions will be utilized for its overall operations going forward. In addition, Dassault Systèmes will establish training courses for 3D modeling and design solutions and jointly operate professional designer training programs with InnoDesign. Moving forward, the two companies plan to actively cooperate for the development of global industrial design, not only in Korea but also in Asia, the Americas, and Europe.

"Together with InnoDesign, Dassault Systèmes Korea plans to contribute to fostering domestic industrial designers and provide focused support to startups and venture companies that require design capabilities."
InnoDesign and Dassault Systèmes are jointly participating in the French startup support program 'French Tech Hub Seoul' and plan to attend the global industrial design conference together during 'Milan Design Week' held in Milan, Italy on April 11-12 to announce their vision for the future of industrial design and startup development.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
