Cellebrite Steps Up to Foster Mobile Forensics Market by Supplying Products and Providing Certified Training
'UFED', Portable High-Performance Mobile Forensic Solution

Insec Security (www.insec.co.kr, CEO Jong-kwang Kim), a network security specialist, announced that it has signed a domestic distribution agreement with Cellebrite (www.cellebrite.com, CEO Yossi Carmil), a global mobile forensic solution company. The company stated that it will supply the mobile forensic solution "UFED" in Korea and operate an authorized training center to cultivate Cellebrite experts.

Cellebrite is a company specializing in the development of mobile forensic analysis solutions established in Israel in 1999, supplying products worldwide, and its flagship product is the portable, high-performance mobile forensic solution 'UFED'.

Cellebrite’s UFED enables companies to bypass security devices such as pattern locks and passwords on smart mobile devices using physical or logical memory acquisition methods such as JTEG and Chip-off when internal information leakage, corruption, or embezzlement occurs, thereby securing data including stored media files, mobile messenger conversations, text message transmission and reception records, contacts, calendars, and location information.

This can be used to identify where information has leaked within the company and to verify whether actions prohibited by internal policy have been committed. UFED can perform forensic analysis on mobile devices based on all operating systems, including iOS phones, Android phones, and Windows phones.

In addition, Insec Security operates a Cellebrite-certified training course to foster domestic mobile forensic experts. Cellebrite certified training will be conducted at Insec Security's training center starting in April, and starting this coming August, online English training courses will also be offered for customers and security experts in the Asian region. Through this training service, Cellebrite expects to stably support technical support and practical training for customers by fostering mobile forensic experts in Asia, and to enable the enhancement of technical capabilities, high-quality technical support, and highly effective vulnerability assessments for partner companies providing products and services to customers.

Insec Security CEO Kim Jong-kwang, as Korea's first certified Cellebrite instructor (mobile, logical, and physical analysis), personally runs the Cellebrite Mobile Forensic Expert Course. The training program consists of four courses: Cellebrite Certified Logical Operator (CCLO) practical training, Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) practical training, Cellebrite JTAG Extraction and Decoding (CJED) practical training, and Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analysis (CASA) practical training.
