ASUS Gains Popularity Among College Students with Portability and High Value A Series

ASUS (kr.asus.com)'s new A-series all-in-one laptops, two models (A556UB-DM136 and A556UB-DM150), are gaining popularity for their high performance and features relative to their price.
The A556UB-DM136 and A556UB-DM150 are laptops that emphasize portability with a weight of 2.3kg and a thickness of 2.55mm. They are receiving high interest, particularly among college students, as they come in four different colors: blue, gold, red, and white. Another factor in their popularity is that the price is in the 800,000 to 900,000 won range, making them more affordable.
Equipped with the Intel Skylake 6th Generation Dual-Core i7 6500U processor, it boasts superior performance compared to competing models in the same price range. Furthermore, the combination of an ultra-fast SSD that is much faster than the previous generation and the NVIDIA GeForce 940M for gaming users allows users to enjoy even ultra-high-spec games seamlessly with maximum graphics performance. Memory capacity has also doubled compared to the previous model.
The battery also uses a lithium polymer battery, which has a lifespan three times longer than conventional lithium-ion cylinder batteries and maintains 80% of its initial charge capacity even after hundreds of charging cycles. The touchpad has also been enlarged by approximately 30% compared to competitors' products, and its accuracy and sensitivity have been enhanced to allow users to control the touchpad more intuitively and naturally.
The emphasis on audio, reflecting the recent trend of utilizing multimedia functions extensively on laptops, is also a factor in its popularity. Utilizing ASUS’s proprietary technology, Asus Sonic Master, professional codecs ensure accurate sound performance, while optimized amplifiers provide higher volume. Added signal processing filters out noise and enhances audio clarity.
