Siemens, an electrical and electronics company, will participate in the '2016 Hannover Messe' held in Germany for five days from April 25 to 29 and showcase technologies in the fields of automation, digitalization, and industrial software.

Siemens announced that it will set up a booth spanning a total of 3,500 square meters (approximately 1,060 pyeong) under the theme "Ingenuity for life - Driving the Digital Enterprise" and present core technologies and a blueprint for the future of manufacturing as it transforms into a "digital enterprise" by merging the real and virtual worlds. Siemens is the largest participant in the Hannover Industrial Fair.



At this exhibition, Siemens plans to showcase a cube-shaped 'Highlight Cube' exhibition hall featuring four themes: industrial energy, additive manufacturing (3D printing), automotive, and fiber industry.

It focuses on introducing examples of how BMW, Daimler, Volkswagen, and Ford have increased productivity and efficiency by applying Siemens digitalization systems, as well as smart energy management portfolios and product manufacturing lifecycles for complete 3D printing, providing visitors with the opportunity to directly experience Siemens' digital technology through visual materials related to each topic.

Meanwhile, the Sports Zone showcases the impact of automation and digitalization on the manufacturing of sporting goods and equipment, utilizing products produced by U.S. manufacturers in the sports and leisure industry.
