Premium Tablet, ThinkPad X1 Announced
Seamless switching between productivity, presentation, and 3D image modules

Lenovo Korea announced that it is launching the ThinkPad X1 Tablet (hereinafter X1 Tablet) as part of its premium professional PC lineup, the X1 FAMILY.

The X1 Tablet is the first premium Windows tablet in Korea to adopt a modular design that allows for the expansion of functionality. Its key feature is the ability to utilize it in various ways as desired, such as a 3D camera, projector, tablet, or laptop, thanks to its easily detachable modular design.

By attaching a productivity module to the tablet, up to 15 hours of work are possible without charging. When using the presentation module with a built-in beam projector, a screen up to 60 inches can be projected, and HDMI in/out ports allow for convenient presentations on a large screen even in environments without a projector. In particular, the 3D image module, which supports 3D scanning, enables the scanning and modification of objects for graphic design and 3D printing.

The X1 Tablet is thin at 0.84cm and weighs only about 1kg even with the keyboard, yet it delivers powerful PC performance befitting a premium line. It is equipped with up to an Intel Core m7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and features a 12-inch Full HD+ IPS panel. In addition, the full-size ThinkPad keyboard, featuring Lenovo's signature red TrackPoint, reproduces the distinctive ThinkPad typing feel.

Unlike typical 2-in-1 keyboards, this keyboard allows for adjustable typing angles, providing a more comfortable and accurate typing experience. Furthermore, the X1 tablet features a detachable rear design for easy repair and upgrades, and supports an active pen for handwriting input, enabling a wide range of creative tasks.

The X1 Tablet will be available for purchase starting May 12 at the Lenovo Online Store, as well as on Auction, Gmarket, 11st, and Tmon. The 3D camera, projector, and productivity module will be sold as options and will be released sequentially thereafter.
