Online electronics retailer Element14 and Sierra Wireless announced the launch of the mangOH Green Open Hardware Platform and mangOH Kit for IoT.

The mangOH Green Open Hardware Platform for IoT enables rapid prototyping of IoT solutions and their launch in just weeks. As the industry's first sensor-to-cloud platform, mangOH™ provides an all-in-one hardware, software, and cloud-based solution for IoT applications.

Also ideal for remote data logging, the mangOH™ green open hardware platform for IoT is perfect for remote monitoring systems, including a variety of sensors, IoT products, and cloud-based applications.


At the heart of this board are two industrial-grade CF3 connectors that can be used with Sierra Wireless' AirPrime HL series of modules or AirPrime WP series of application processor modules. It also provides a device-to-cloud architecture that enables IoT developers to build Linux-based products on a single module using the AirPrime WP series cellular modems.

Additionally, the mangOH Green IoT platform is compatible with other open source initiatives, such as NXP Thread modules, Linear Technology Dust Networks, and Texas Instruments ZigBee, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth modules, enabling easy and rapid prototyping.
