Simplified wireless system design, includes AD9371 integrated broadband RF transceiver

Analog Devices (ADI) announced the RadioVerse™ technology and design ecosystem, which provides customers with integrated transceiver technology, a robust design environment, and market-specific technical expertise.

The newly announced RadioVerse™ technology and design ecosystem accelerates the radio design process from concept to creation.


The transceiver technology of this new ecosystem reduces the size, weight, and power (SWaP) of radios, while providing board support packages, software, and tools that simplify and accelerate customer radio development across a diverse range of applications, including wireless infrastructure, aerospace and defense electronics, and electronic test and measurement. RadioVerse is redefining radio design at the circuit, architecture, system, and software levels to streamline integration and reduce customers' time-to-market.

As part of the launch of the RadioVerse technology and design ecosystem, ADI introduced the AD9371, the latest addition to its integrated broadband RF transceiver family. AD9371 is a highly versatile carrier-grade system-on-chip radio solution that achieves a wideband RF tuning range of 300 MHz to 6 GHz, a signal bandwidth of 100 MHz, and power consumption of less than 5 W under standard operating conditions.

This product can replace or eliminate up to 20 discrete wireless components and can be used as a common design platform across various applications and standards, thereby increasing R&D efficiency and shortening the time to market for final products. Other products in this broadband RF transceiver family include the AD9361 and AD9364.
