Expanding strategic partnership with Russian nuclear power company NIAEP

Dassault Systèmes (www.3ds.com/ko) is expanding its strategic partnership with the Nizhny Novgorod AtomEnergo Project (NIAEP), a nuclear power plant construction project under the global state-owned nuclear company RoseAtom.

Through this, NIAEP will introduce Dassault Systèmes’ industry-specific solutions (ISE), ‘Optimized Plant Construction’ and ‘Efficient Plant Operation’, into the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.

The industry-specific solution from Dassault Systèmes to be adopted by NIAEP incorporates Multi-D technology, jointly developed by the two companies, which enables the simulation of business processes and allows for more detailed modeling for nuclear power plant construction based on 3D data, as well as NIAEP's nuclear power plant management know-how. With this expansion of the partnership, NIAEP has become the first company to extend the use of Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform to nuclear power plant construction sites.



Dassault Systèmes' Optimized Plant Construction, a solution specialized for the energy industry, enhances collaboration between design and construction teams on-site through digital continuity. In the virtual environment established through this, plant design models, construction processes, and resources are integrated and interconnected via a single data source that is accessible and updated in real time. This significantly reduces document review and approval times and enables proactive responses to various issues, thereby improving the quality of construction execution.

The 'Efficient Plant Operation' industry-specific solution is a powerful digital simulation application that allows for a virtual experience of the nuclear power plant site, enabling more reliable and predictable plant operations. Through this, NIAEP is able to simulate the workflows of power plant construction, maintenance, and tasks that make the power plant safer, more efficient, and sustainable.
