At COMPUTEX 2016, Asia’s largest IT show, Dell has unveiled its Inspiron 2-in-1 lineup. The company says the new products are perfect for families, aspiring entrepreneurs, and students looking to meet their everyday computing needs. The new lineup includes the world’s first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop, the Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1.

The latest addition to Dell’s award-winning lineup of innovative products is designed specifically to meet the needs of customers with powerful performance and a variety of options. The all-new 2016 Inspiron 2-in-1 lineup has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for the premium 7000 Series, the mainstream 5000 Series, or the entry-level 3000 Series. The Inspiron 13, 15, and 17-inch 7000 2-in-1s offer high performance and a dazzling aluminum design with optional 6th generation Intel® CoreTM processors to handle everyday tasks quickly. The 360-degree universal hinge transforms into four modes to suit your environment: Laptop mode for writing a paper, Tent mode for presentations, Stand mode for streaming movies, and Tablet mode for keeping up with social media.

The 7000 series includes upscale features such as a wide-view screen with FHD resolution, a backlit keyboard for typing in dark environments, and an infrared camera that works with Windows Hello to let users log in with just a look. The standard precision touchpad provides precise pointing and gesture recognition, Waves MaxxAudio® Pro audio software provides an enhanced multimedia experience, and 802.11ac wireless provides improved range and speed for surfing, streaming, and video chatting.

The Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 utilizes a USB Type C adapter with ports for HDMI and VGA displays, Ethernet connectivity, and a USB 3.0 port that supports external hard drives, printers, and scanners. Dell Power Companions connect to the USB Type-C port and provide up to six additional hours of battery life for the 13- and 15-inch 7000 series models, and up to five additional hours for the 17-inch model[2]. The new 15-inch and 17-inch Inspiron 5000 series notebooks are beautifully designed, versatile computers that offer a variety of processor options for fast, responsive performance.
