Micron MX200 successor SSD returns stronger

The successor to Micron's MX200, the Micron MX300, has finally made its appearance. With the highest specifications in a single capacity and single product category, the Micron MX300 possesses characteristics that most befittingly warrant the descriptor "premium" among existing SSD products.
Accordingly, Daewon CTS (CEO Jung Myung-cheon, http://www.dwcts.co.kr), the official Korean distributor of Micron Crucial SSDs, announced on the 14th that it will officially launch the Micron Crucial MX300 (hereinafter Micron MX300), the next model to carry forward the reputation of Micron SSDs.
The newly released Micron MX300, having emerged after breaking a long silence since the launch of the Micron MX200, showcases a completely transformed appearance.
The most striking aspect is the 750GB capacity it features. SSDs that were previously used mainly for office work due to capacity limitations can now be enjoyed worry-free for gaming as well. With a generous capacity compared to existing 250GB and 500GB SSD products, the past days of deliberation over performance upgrades while using desktops and notebooks can now be forgotten.

The key to the Micron MX300 achieving such large 750GB capacity lies in its use of 3D TLC NAND flash. 3D NAND flash is an advanced technology that increases integration density by stacking circuits in a three-dimensional vertical structure instead of the conventional method of placing circuits on a flat (two-dimensional) plane. Currently, only Micron, Samsung, and Intel manufacture 3D NAND flash.
Previously, cells were arranged planar with narrow spacing between them, resulting in frequent errors. However, 3D NAND stacks layers differently and minimizes electronic interference with wider spacing, enabling even greater capacity. This is the background for SSDs to now be able to start with high capacity as standard, unlike the past when they began at 240GB.
Additionally, compared to conventional NAND, it consumes approximately 50% less power, has a lifespan over 10 times longer, and boasts high-capacity and high-efficiency functionality.
Speed has also improved dramatically. The previously released Micron BX200 also received high praise for its sufficiently fast performance, but with a write speed standard of 510MB/s that is 20MB/s faster, it boasts industry-leading write speed. Read speed of up to 530MB/s enables optimization for gaming environments where data read/write operations are critical. This immediately resolves long-standing frustrations for gamers.

It is a product optimized from PC to mobile. The eco-friendly storage title is also something the Micron MX300 boasts. Unlike conventional HDDs, since it does not physically spin a motor, power consumption is low, it operates silently, and loading times are dramatically reduced. In terms of power consumption, with energy consumption reduction of over 95%, it provides maximum advantages for prolonged desktop and notebook use.
Furthermore, the Micron MX300 creates a stable computing environment through low-heat design and provides performance improved by up to 10 times through dedicated software, guaranteeing optimized operation in all environments that an SSD can provide.
A representative from Daewon CTS, which handles domestic supply of the Micron Crucial MX300, stated, "We are pleased to finally launch the Micron MX300, an SSD storage device with high capacity and high efficiency, breaking a long silence." Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
