Dassault Systèmes Korea (www.3ds.com/ko) announced that Hurom (www.hurom.co.kr), a kitchenware company that manufactures Korea's leading premium juicers, has adopted 'Accelerated Device,' a high-tech industry-specific solution based on Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Through this introduction, Hurom has laid the foundation to further strengthen its global competitiveness by improving product quality while shortening product development time and costs.

Founded in 1974, Hurom has established itself as a leader in the field of juicing technology and develops and produces high-end home appliances that comprehensively combine design and function, such as luxurious design, convenient and safe operation, and low noise and vibration levels. Hurom has subsidiaries in China, India, Japan, and the United States, and exports to 85 countries worldwide. Recently, it has strengthened new product development and opened additional production plants in Korea and China.


To continue its sustainable growth and innovation, Hurom adopted Dassault Systèmes' 'Accelerated Device' industry-specific solution to approach global sites with systematized and standardized business processes.

This solution provides a collaboration platform designed to enhance Hurom’s ability to manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and requests, thereby reducing product development time and project delays. Hurom’s design team can connect in real-time with stakeholders from other departments within a single digital environment to access various information, including project schedules, tasks, resources, and costs.

Functions such as parts and BOM management, parts approval and modification, distribution management, and report printing are integrated for principled and accurate planning and execution across the entire region. In addition, it is possible to quickly incorporate customer requirements into the future roadmap and manage engineering costs, resources, quality, and regulations.
