Microsoft Korea Releases Highly Anticipated Titles Launching on Xbox One and Windows 10 in Korean

Microsoft Korea (CEO Koh Soon-dong) announced at E3 2016 that it will release major titles launching on Xbox One and Windows 10 in Korean versions.

Among the game titles announced for launch at E3, a total of 5 titles including "Gears of War 4," "Forza Horizon 3," "Halo Wars 2," and "ReCore," which will launch as exclusives on Xbox One and Windows 10, as well as "Dead Rising 4," are scheduled to release in Korean versions.

"Gears of War 4," the latest installment in the Gears series, one of Xbox's flagship game titles, will be localized in Korean and launch exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 on October 11. "Gears of War 4" recreates the dark and intense atmosphere unique to the Gears series and will support split-screen, online cooperative play, Horde Mode, 60 frames-per-second multiplayer, and sophisticated visuals based on Unreal Engine 4.

Additionally, Microsoft and The Coalition plan to introduce a limited edition Xbox Gears of War 4 Elite wireless controller to coincide with the launch of "Gears of War 4." It features a vintage design with laser-etched claw marks and a battle-worn aesthetic, incorporating the game's story of confronting the Swarm.

"Forza Horizon 3," a new title in the bestselling Forza franchise, will launch exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 on September 27. The open-world racing game "Forza Horizon 3" allows players to drive over 350 premium vehicles across the rugged yet spectacular landscapes of Australia with friends. In the new Horizon Festival, players can directly customize all elements of racing events.

The real-time strategy (RTS) game "Halo Wars 2" is scheduled to launch exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 on February 21, 2017. Developed by 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, "Halo Wars 2" adds action to the largest Halo battlefield in the existing series.

"ReCore," one of Microsoft Studios' new IPs, will launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 on September 13. Keiji Inafune and Armature Studio present the action-adventure game "ReCore" following the "Metroid Prime" series. Players become Joule, humanity's last survivor, build friendships with courageous robot companions, and lead them on an epic adventure.

"Dead Rising 4," developed by Capcom, is also scheduled to release in Korean on Xbox One and Windows 10 by the end of 2016. With the return of photojournalist Frank West, "Dead Rising 4" is expected to open a new chapter in the most entertaining zombie game series to date. "Dead Rising 4" features enhanced weapon and character customization, new zombies, and various features including Exo Suits, allowing players to enjoy a thrilling adventure for survival in an open world.

In particular, the four titles launching exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10—"Gears of War 4," "Forza Horizon 3," "Halo Wars 2," and "ReCore"—are scheduled to launch with Xbox Play Anywhere. The Xbox Play Anywhere program enables players to share progress, saved games, and achievements across Xbox One and Windows 10 PC with a single purchase. Additionally, "Gears of War 4" and "Forza Horizon 3" will support cross-play functionality on Xbox Live.
