Unnyeong's 'Nano-Fusion Products T2B Special Exhibition'
Nano experts will also provide commentary to help visitors understand the exhibit.

Nano Korea 2016, held at KINTEX from July 13th, will feature a "Nano Convergence Product T2B Special Exhibition," showcasing Korea's leading nano-convergence products in one location. This exhibition is part of the T2B Nano Convergence R&BD Promotion Project (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Gyeonggi Province), which aims to discover outstanding convergence products from domestic nano companies and support commercialization through collaboration with companies in need.

In the special exhibition hall, around 60 nanotechnology-applied products will be demonstrated under the theme of “Nano Products in Daily Life,” which is expected to attract great interest from visitors.

Among them, the Nano Car, featuring approximately 20 nano-products, offers greater comfort, convenience, and safety, and its design is evident in the vehicle. The body, made with basalt fibers, reduces weight, and nano-engine additives enhance fuel efficiency. The nano-material heating seat provides warmth with low energy consumption, while the zinc oxide filter provides antibacterial benefits for a pleasant experience. Design-wise, the car can be customized with nano-pearl pigments to create a desired color.

Many products in the film/coating, surface heating, and antibacterial fields will also be exhibited. Nanofilm, with its excellent wear resistance and high transmittance, is currently used in touch panels for smartphones, laptops, and other devices. Surface heating is a technology that utilizes environmentally friendly, harmless materials and can be applied to flat or curved surfaces. Its excellent thermal efficiency promises applications in various industries, including construction, automotive, and home appliances. In the antibacterial field, various antibacterial and filter products that can be applied to environmental fields such as water treatment, air purification, and dust collection will be exhibited.

To enhance understanding of the nano products featured in the special exhibition, a nano expert will provide explanations. Their accessible and engaging explanations will provide visitors with an opportunity to become more familiar with nanotechnology.

This special exhibition hall, showcasing a diverse range of nano products, will also host one-on-one consultations for product transactions in addition to exhibitions. These consultations will be a meeting program between nano companies and companies interested in applying or commercializing nano-convergence products. The Nano Korea Organizing Committee anticipates diverse business opportunities between nano companies and demanders, stating that approximately 40 consultations took place last year and anticipates many more consultations, transactions, and other business opportunities this year.

The Nano Korea Organizing Committee also stated that they have created a special exhibition hall to make it easier to understand nanotechnology, which can be considered difficult, through examples of its application in real life, such as automobiles. They also stated that they expect various results, such as promotion and business contracts, to be achieved by exhibiting nano products on the verge of industrialization in the special exhibition hall.

This year's Nano Korea exhibition will feature 350 companies from 15 countries showcasing their applied technologies and products, co-located across six fields: nanotechnology, micro/MEMS, lasers, advanced ceramics, high-performance materials, and smart sensors. Pre-registration for the exhibition is currently available on the website, and those who register by July 11th will receive free admission.
